Then we want you to come and join our Urology, Trauma & Orthopaedic and Ophthalmology (UTOO) Clinical Business Unit (Surgery Division).
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, forward thinking and innovative person to come and join the team.
The UTOO CBU are a multi-site service with services at Lincoln, Boston, Grantham and Louth.
We are a very busy service and provide surgical services to the population of Lincolnshire and beyond.
This post is full time and we are looking for candidates to be based at Lincoln Hospital or Boston Hospital.
Candidates are expected to travel a minimum of 1-2 days per week off site.

From now on it will be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Pilgrim Hospital is situated beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area.
It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area.
It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire.
Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).

Person Specification Qualifications Essential First degree (BSc or BA) or equivalent experience Knowledge of health service management, including change management and workforce redesign.
Detailed knowledge of the NHS in the acute sector with up to date knowledge of medical/surgical specialities.
Evidence of CPD and commitment to future career development Previous Experience Essential Experience within the Healthcare sector at junior management level Proven track record of monitoring healthcare targets (Cancer & Referral to Treatment) Experience of delivering service change within an NHS setting Experience of managing performance issues Well-developed IT skills, particularly word and excel Desirable Experience of reporting on complex performance management information Knowledge, Skills & Aptitudes Essential Excellent communications skills, both written and oral Evidence of being a team-player but able to stand back when necessary Ability to motivate staff Ability to present complex data Proven influencing skills Ability to manage conflict Logical thinker with evidence of delivery Ability to understand complex financial and clinical data Business focused Sensitive to clinical and political demands Ability to cut through barriers to change Track record of delivering to deadlines Track record of identifying problems and proposing and implementing solutions
