The role will also involve supporting and maintaining effective 2LoD oversight of the risks and controls environment through effective identification and reporting of operational risk exposures and mitigating activities.
The role will focus de in-depth understanding of risks around Data Management and Data Protection in Banking Digital Transformation space.
The difference youll make: Delivering oversight, advisory and guidance on new Data Management and partnering with the compliance officers in overseeing Data Protection Supporting as needed the digital/technology transformation of the bank from a Data Management risk perspective Developing effective and collaborative relationship with all 1LoD and Group key stakeholders primarily CDO and Head of Data Maintaining oversight of Data Management and Data Privacy risk across the Bank Bringing together a holistic picture of the technology risk across the Bank and to enhance the risk management framework and tools to better capture and report on Data Management and Data Privacy risk Carrying up-to-date in-depth industry and technical expertise in the areas of focus What youll bring: These are essential requirements you need to be successful in this role: In depth understanding of Data Management methodologies and approaches Experience working in organisations with large data management programmes Highly experience within Operational Risk Management Experience in control concepts and documentation objectives, types, accountability, resource, process, evidence It would also be nice for you to have: Industry Certification such as CIPP, CDPSE, equivalent Experience in completing Data Privacy assessments of Projects and 3rd Parties Knowledge of EDMC DCAM assessments Exposure to UK and European regulators
