We're seeking a dynamic and committed Operational PBS Service Lead to join our team, delivering person-centered, evidence-based PBS services across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and North Somerset.Key Responsibilities: Service Oversight: Manage the daily operations of PBS services, ensuring a high standard of support in alignment with PBS principles, organisational policies, and regulatory requirements.Leadership and Development: Lead, train, and support PBS practitioners and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, compassion, and empowerment.Behavioural Support Planning: Develop individualised, proactive behaviour support plans based on thorough assessments and tailored to each service user's needs.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with families, external agencies, healthcare professionals, and local authorities to provide coordinated, effective care.Monitoring and Quality Assurance: Continuously assess service quality, track intervention effectiveness, and adjust strategies based on data and outcomes.Compliance and Safeguarding: Uphold all regulatory standards, maintain accurate records, and ensure adherence to safeguarding policies.
Essential Requirements: Qualifications: Hold a BTEC Level 5 Diploma or equivalent, covering clinical, theoretical, and practical aspects of PBS.Accreditation: Must be accredited and actively practicing Positive Behaviour Support with adults.Driving Requirements: Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle and willingness to travel across the region.
Key Skills: Demonstrated experience in PBS, ideally within an operational or management role.Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with service users, staff, families, and stakeholders.Analytical skills to evaluate behavioural data and adjust support plans accordingly.
