Job summary The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing a team of staffengaged in the delivery and management of services on behalf of the PCN.Theywill provide proactive and flexible day to day support to the team and valuablemanagement advice ensuringthat a high quality of service is delivered with theservice user at the core.Experience in people management is key as they will lead the human resource requirements of the service that includes, workforce and development planning, carrying out supervision and appraisals, and staff wellbeing.They will play a lead role inproviding operational support to the Clinical Operations Lead and the ClinicalLead to ensure a joined up and cohesive working environment.They will ensure high quality service deliveryand support with sustainability and growth.They will obtain valuable knowledge and expertise of the services deliveredwithin the Erewash PCN and understand the stakeholders working with Erewash.The post holder will be required towork autonomously in order to address issues impacting on service delivery withoverall strategic direction from the PCN Team Up Clinical Operations Lead and Clinical Lead.
The post holder will ensurethat key stakeholder relationships are managed with partners across the Healthand Care system.
Main duties of the job Provide immediate advice and directionto team members in relation to operational service issues, analysing and interpreting the various options available.
Provide managerial and technicaladvice to other disciplines and agencies in relation to the service.
To ensure that all relevant policiesand procedures are adhered to by all staff.
Ensure all staff are appropriately supervised and appraised and that opportunities for Continuous Professional Development are identified and maximised.
Take responsibility for theselection, appointment, and retention of team members.Operationally manage staffattendance, sickness, and annual leave for the teamPrioritise own workload and thework of the team.Ensure safe and effective staffinglevels.Establish and maintain a free flowof information and communication with staff, including chairing team meetings governance meetings.Ensure that effective systems are in place to ensure teams function safely setting up processes, monitoring and review, ensuring governance and team structures are appropriate and effective.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Educated to degree level or equivalent experience Desirable Clinical qualification First level Nurse, AHP, Social Worker Experience Essential Demonstrable experience at an operational management level.

Effectively leads, manages and motivates a team by being highly visible, approachable and communicative at all levels; utilising effective written, oral and presentation skills.
