This role will oversee the operational strategy and delivery for strategic accounts in the finance sector, working globally to ensure exceptional performance, efficiency, and compliance.
Develop and implement strategies to meet the unique needs of strategic finance accounts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Manage budgets, resource allocation, and supply chains to meet financial and margin objectives.
Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team, setting clear KPIs and supporting professional growth.
Develop quality management systems and ensure adherence to all relevant standards and safety protocols.
Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to optimize costs and service quality.
Experience: At least 10 years of experience in a senior operations or project management role within the data centre or construction industry, with a strong background in white space fit-out or similar complex environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead large multi-disciplinary teams, manage complex projects, and ensure successful delivery in a fast-paced and highly technical environment.
Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems, cabling, fire suppression, and cooling solutions.
Project Management: Proven track record of managing large-scale construction or fit-out projects from inception to completion.
A formal project management qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) would be an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Problem Solver: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to overcoming project challenges.
Commercial Acumen: Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and contract negotiation.
Health & Safety Knowledge: In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction and data centre sectors, with a proven track record of promoting safe working practices.
Ability to adapt to changing project demands, work under pressure, and deliver results within tight timeframes.
A strategic thinker who can contribute to long-term business growth.
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with sustainability practices in data centre design and construction.
