Operational Fleet Controller Location: Chipping Warden Pay Rate: £12.82 p/h (25,000 p/a) Hours: 9am – 5:30pm (1 hours Lunch Break) Igloo is recruiting for an Operational Fleet Controller to join a well-established company on a temporary to permanent contract.
The Role You will be overseeing and managing key client contracts and will be the main point of contact between the company and its customers, as well as ensuring that the agreed level of service is provided within the agreed budget.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the below key tasks: * Work in partnership with the customer to maintain forecasted volumes of vehicle movements.
* Ensure that performance levels are maintained at the highest standards.
* Oversee all elements of effective Fleet Management including In-fleeting and De-fleeting, management of product condition and model utilisation.
* Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with your clients.
Ensure constant lines of communication are maintained with all key budget holders.
* Manage the customers future planned activities to include any storage requirements to ensure the business is resourced sufficiently and has the right level of capacity on site.
* Attend client premises on a regular basis together with remote video meetings where client prefers.
* Fleet management control; to include in-fleeting and de-fleeting.
Constantly act on behalf of the client by looking for proactive recommendations to improve fleet performance.
Understand your fleet at its most granular level to ensure fleet optimisation and risk mitigation is achieved.
* Prepare for and participate in meetings with Senior Management.
* Understand ad hoc special events that may include the retailer network.
What We're Seeking: We are looking for the successful candidate to possess the below skills and attributes.
* Previous experience of leading and executing project management.
* Previously worked within an account management position.
* Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge and awareness within the fleet industry.
* Have a high standard of IT skills and be a confident user of all Microsoft software packages.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Have excellent attention to details and be a good problem solver
