Out-of-Hours Veterinary Surgeon Up to £80,000 pro-rata (dependent on experience)
About the Role Are you looking for a dynamic out-of-hours role with flexibility to suit your lifestyle? This opportunity offers a rotation of one week on and two weeks off, with options for more flexible working patterns.
You'll join a dedicated out-of-hours emergency team, working in a well-equipped practice with access to advanced facilities and the support of a wider clinical network. This role is perfect for vets who are confident in sole charge and are looking to develop their emergency and critical care (ECC) skills further.
Key Highlights of the Role: Work an average of 10 nights per month, typically 7 nights on and 14 nights off. Full-time hours average 36 per week, with flexibility for part-time arrangements. RVN on-site overnight and access to a supportive out-of-hours vet network. Opportunity to enroll in the training programme , designed to build confidence and skills in emergency cases. About the Practice The practice has state-of-the-art facilities and a strong focus on delivering 24/7 care. With visiting specialists in orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, and cardiology, there is significant opportunity for collaboration and professional growth.
The location, Stoke-on-Trent, is one of the most affordable and accessible areas in Staffordshire, offering excellent transport links, affordable housing, and proximity to attractions like Alton Towers.
