Job Title: Delphi Developer Location: Hybrid (2 days per week on-site at customer location in Farnborough, Summit One Summit Avenue, Farnborough GU14 0FB) Contract Duration: 6 months Rate: £350 - £375per day Number of Positions: 2 Role Description: We are seeking an experienced Delphi Developer (L3) with 8+ years of expertise to join our team.
The developer will be responsible for delivering changes to financial applications, providing support in a production environment, and working closely with business analysts and testers.

Key Responsibilities: Oracle & Delphi Development: Deliver changes to financial applications ensuring they meet project requirements.
Collaborate with a team of developers on projects, conducting code reviews and sharing ideas.
Support applications in the production environment , assisting with troubleshooting, issue resolution, and root cause analysis.
Work from written specifications or JIRA stories to refine and implement solutions.
Collaborate with analysts to refine requirements and provide technical expertise.
Assist testers with functional testing of changes and enhancements.
Maintain comprehensive documentation and knowledge base within JIRA and Confluence .
Solve complex problems independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
Quality & Delivery: Ensure that all development work is completed on time and meets the required quality standards for stable operations.
Adhere to client Group requirements , following Agile Working Model standards and Change Management processes appropriate for a Financial Services environment.
Key Skills/Experience: Extensive programming experience in Oracle and Delphi (specifically XE11).
Strong Oracle PL/SQL programming skills.
Experience with Windows client and server-based applications .
Microsoft Visual Studio C# experience is a plus.
Proficient in version control systems and collaborative team environments.
Ability to identify and implement solutions independently in a team setting.
Strong communication skills for collaborating with business analysts and testers .
Person Specification: Strong communication skills , with the ability to engage effectively with both business and IT teams at various levels.
Able to understand business requirements and explain technical concepts in a non-technical manner when necessary.
Experience working closely with developers , systems analysts , and the business to ensure efficient delivery of changes.
Support DevOps providers in project and support activities.
