Purpose of Role As a Medical Devices Territory Business Development Manager, you will act as act as a Key Link between The Company and Healthcare Professionals and be responsible for promoting and selling a range of Physiotherapy and Orthopedic Medical Equipment Products and Devices such as but not limited to: General Exercise, Electrotherapy Cardio & Strength Equipment, and Ambulatory Assistive Devices into the NHS, Private & Secondary Care within the geographical area of your choice as this role is 100% field based.
Office meetings required, 2 to 3 times per month.
Key Performance Indicators - Increase the awareness and use of company's products by organizing presentations, group events for healthcare professionals (Clinicans, Doctors, Physiotherapists, Theatre Managers) and work with contacts on a one-to-one basis - Assess client's needs & present suitable products - Minimum of 5 client visits per day (pre-arranged and "cold" calling) monthly expectation of from 80 client visits - Build and maintain positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administration staff - Exceed sales targets, regularly monitoring business plans to make sure you achieve targets set out and provide regular feedback to Line Management - Effectively monitor competitor activity and competitors' products by keeping up to date with new developments in the NHS, anticipate potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapt strategy - Management and updating of the CRM System - Keep detailed records of all contacts - Submit sales and activity reports on a weekly basis to line management Desired Experience & Qualification - 3 to 10 years of medical devices sales experience - Experience of selling into the NHS, highly advantageous - Ability to converse from mid to c-suite level - Good understanding of geographical territories Furthermore, this position would ideally suite an energetic self-starter with an interest in physiotherapy devices coupled with being able to work independently and who will thrive in working in company with an existing foundation built on trust, integrity and a good value belief system.
Base Salary highly competitive + lucrative commission earnings + car allowance + standard healthcare benefits.
