Location : Maidenhead Pay : £76 - £90 per day We are working with a great specialist school in Maidenhead who are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for students who struggle with autism and other co-existing needs.
As a one to one support assistant you will focus on empowering students to achieve their full potential through tailored educational experiences and emotional support.
As a One to One Support Assistant you will foster trusting and supportive relationships with students, promoting their well being and resilience.
You will also provide individualised support to students, addressing their emotional, social and educational needs.
You will support students in developing communication skills and support and encourage emotional awareness.
The school also offer therapy to their students development of personal skills.
You will receive full training on the therapy used.
The right One to One Support Assistant will have: Educational background in Psychology, Criminology or Education will be advantageous Strong communication skills Patience, empathy and genuine passion for supporting children Ability to work collaboratively with a team Experience working with children with autism will be a huge advantage Key Information: One to One Support Assistant Maidenhead £75 to £90 per day Mental Health Support Facilitating interventions ASAP Start Full time This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable information and insight into mental health issues and equip you to be an advocate for mental health awareness and interventions to support students.
