Purpose and Objectives: Support the Onboarding Team by risk-assessing applications from potential customers to become approved NOCN centres nationally within the UK and international markets.
Arrange and hold pre-approval review meetings with customers to provide them with information, advice and guidance on evidencing adherence to the NOCN approval criteria to ensure smooth and timely reviews.
Conduct risk-assessment approval reviews (face-to-face and remote) of an organisation's management systems, delivery staff experience and competency, adequacy of resources, equipment and facilities against NOCN requirements as part of the Centre approval process.
Identify and manage risks identified with customer applications and implement supportive action plans to allow centres to meet NOCN requirements where there are gaps in their systems.
Provide a consistent service to centres by adhering to NOCN policies, procedures and guidance including NOCN's Centre Assessment Standards Scrutiny Strategy, as well as relevant sector body and assessment strategies.
Promote a positive perception of NOCN Group to centres and learners by reviewing applications in a timely manner and providing exceptional customer service.
Key requirements: The successful candidate will meet the following essential criteria: Educated to Level 5 or above Level 4 External Quality Assurance Qualification Verifiable and demonstrable competency of working within the construction sector Experience of undertaking external quality assurance of qualification delivery Experience of working in a regulated environment Experience of proactively evaluating and risk-assessing business procedures, processes and systems Knowledge of challenges facing the vocational and technical sector and understanding of how they impact on regulated qualifications and quality assured products in the UK and internationally In depth knowledge of assessment principles, approaches to assessment and examination procedures The following criteria is desirable: Experience of conducting Centre approval visits or reviews Knowledge of the Conditions of Recognition set by the UK Qualification and Assessment Regulators Application instructions: As a proud member of both Disability Confident and Inclusive Employers standard, we celebrate and recognise the benefits of equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging.
