nexos are looking for an Offshore Team Leader to manage and oversee offshore construction activities on board one of our North Sea assets, this is a core PAYE role.

The role of Offshore Team Leader is responsible for managing all offshore construction related tasks within an offshore environment while adhering to company and client procedures.
The position must support in the overall delivery of nexos business objectives through the aligning of deliverables to that of the individual Business Unit strategy.
Responsibilities; Establish a good working relationship with Supervisors and Colleagues to ensure the efficient performance of assigned tasks Oversee the installation of all construction work, adhering to client specifications and site standards Liaise with project managers, survey teams and onshore engineers Prioritize workload and manning levels to meet planned target dates Compile daily progress reports and timesheets Conduct toolbox talks with offshore personnel at the commencement of each shift Provide assistance for project work including working with vendors as required Complete certification, commissioning and handover packages Participate in appraisals for appropriate team members and take active role in their personal development Complete Competency Management System assessment records to ensure team members are at a competency level adequate to fulfil their role and associated responsibilities, providing where required the necessary mentoring and coaching Provide safety leadership to offshore team members making the appropriate interventions to prevent unsafe situations or unacceptable risks being taken whilst ensuring work is carried out efficiently Apply strong leadership skills in order to develop team members, provide timely feedback and guidance to the technicians and facilitate change where the tasks are complex, unclear or uncertain Personal Responsibilities; These are as listed below and all apply to this role.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT Undertake agreed training and development in order to provide a framework of knowledge and skills required to perform effectively in the team/department/business unit demonstrating ongoing competency required in role.
Participate in annual and regular performance appraisal with relevant supervisor and/or manager, identifying and agreeing objectives and targets in relation to personal development.
QUALITY ASSURANCE Comply with and support the Business Management System within own scope of responsibilities and within the Company as a whole.
Responsible for developing, modifying and adhering to procedures and / or processes to support the System and its applications within own area of responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience; REQUIRED 1.
Relevant Trade Qualification: Apprenticeship or Level 3 SVQ/NVQ equivalent in trade discipline 2.
Minimum of 5 Years' experience within a piping role or relevant industry 3.
Minimum of 2 years' experience offshore at trade level Preferred 1.
Relevant Offshore Mandatory Requirements (Survival, Medical, MIST, EBS etc.)

ONC in engineering/City and Guilds in a related trade or NVQ in a related trade 3.
Relevant experience and/or appropriate training in Flange Management and Torqueing (MJI10, 18 and 19) 4.
Relevant experience and/or appropriate training in Quick Flange and Lokring with in-date certification 5.
Good working knowledge of industry codes and standards
