Job Title: Office ManagerLocation: Didcot Quarter, Sutton Courtenay, OxfordshireSalary: £37,000 – £42,000 dependent on experienceJob Type: Permanent, Full-Time, part time available About the role:Simon Hegele UK is seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to join our team at our UK Headquarters in Didcot Quarter, Sutton Courtenay.This pivotal role ensures the smooth operation of our office and facility while providing essential administrative support to the senior management team and line management to a small administrative team.If you are an exceptional multitasker with a passion for fostering efficiency and professionalism, this opportunity is for you.Key Responsibilities:Office Management: Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a productive and professional environment.Provide line management to a small administrative support team.Manage procurement and inventory of office supplies, uniforms, and equipment.Act as the first point of contact for general office and facility-related queries.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Administrative Support: Provide high-level administrative assistance to Directors and senior management.Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation.Organise meetings, draft agendas, take minutes, and track follow-up actions.Coordinate company-wide initiatives such as staff well-being and health programs.
Facility and IT Coordination: Schedule and oversee facility repair and maintenance in liaison with suppliers.Coordinate IT services and support IT escalations, acting as a liaison with the German IT team when needed.
Human Resources Support: Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.Support employee engagement initiatives and training programs.
Health, Safety, and Security: Champion health, safety, and welfare practices across the business.Maintain site security and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
About You:Essential Requirements: Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with digital tools.Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and discretion.
Desirable Skills: Experience in facilities management or IT coordination.Familiarity with health, safety, and quality management systems.Knowledge of the logistics or healthcare industries.
