The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Metcalfe Farms as an administrator based at the company's head office in Leyburn, North Yorkshire.
This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the business by handling a variety of administrative tasks.
The job will be to provides clerical, organisational, and communication support to the business.
This role is a full-time position, and consideration will be given to individuals who have previous experience.
Key aspects of the role include: Office & Recruitment Support : Organising and maintaining filing, training records, and databases.
Managing office supplies.
Assisting with the recruitment including advertising roles, shortlisting candidates, managing applications, scheduling interviews and booking inductions.
Creating starter packs including contracts of employment for new starters and ensuring all the documentation is completed.
Ensuring all new drivers are given all the correct uniform and PPE.
Checking driving licences and other documentation such as Right to Work checks.
Supporting the leaver process Communication : Answering phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication.
Greeting and assisting visitors or clients.
Managing correspondence and distributing it to the relevant departments or individuals.
Data Entry and Documentation : Inputting and maintaining data in systems such as databases or spreadsheets.
Preparing reports, letters, and other documents.
Managing confidential information with discretion.
Coordinating staff training programs, booking courses, and tracking completion of required training.
Maintaining training records for employees.
Scheduling and Coordination : Organising meetings, events, and appointments.
Managing calendars for senior staff or departments.
Coordinating travel arrangements and accommodations for staff.
Customer Service : Assisting clients or customers with inquiries.
Handling complaints and directing them to the General Manager.
Ensuring a positive customer experience by addressing concerns in a professional manner.
Requirements The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:- Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time efficiently.
Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication for interacting with colleagues and clients.
IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with office management software.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy in handling data entry, reports, and documentation.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address issues and come up with solutions quickly and efficiently.
