About The Role: Working Days: Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 6pm

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
The preparation, cooking, presentation and service of meals to the highest possible standards.
Provide food that complies with national nutritional policies and food hygiene standards.
Ensure timely plating and delivery to patient areas.
Contributes to the implementation of service developments i.e.
new menus, production systems.
Submit requisitions for additional foods stores depending upon demand.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
Must have Right to Work in the UK.
An enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
Qualified Cook to City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 standard and Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate.
Knowledge and experience across a broad range of cooking methods, recipe formulation and service requirements.
Knowledge and understanding of HACCP & COSHH acquired over time with training.
Intimate knowledge of Fire Safety as applied in the kitchen setting.
Allergen qualification/training.
