Oversee & Independently handle shipments in the role of Ocean freight Exports in accordance with quality standards, including documentation, booking, shipment control, transport insurance, accounting, and customs handling Provide customer support in conjunction with the Sales Department, including occasional client visits when required Key account Management would be an advantage, and will be a prominent part of your role.
Handle complaints in line with BIFA Terms and Conditions, including correct KPI recording Communicate with our UK, Overseas offices, and agents Focus on ensuring the most cost-effective service solutions are being utilized without risk to service levelsQualifications A minimum of 10 years' experience working within Freight forwarding, ideally in Sea freight Operations Extensive experience within sea freight Operations Previous experience in Ocean freight Import operations Knowledge of BIFA Terms and Conditions Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and efficiently Familiarity with customs handling and transport insurance WR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
