Ocean & Air Freight Operator – Lichfield – Up to £30,Our client, who are independent Freight Forwarder are looking for a Sea & Air Freight Coordinator to join their team in Lichfield.You will be tasked in completing important daily operation tasks predominantly for Sea and Air freight.Job type: PermanentHours: Monday to Friday – 08:30am to 17:30pm**Hybrid working available after successful completion of 6-month probation (3 days in office)Package:Salary up to £30,Company Pension schemeCompany BenefitsAnnual Bonus (Tax-Free)Training & Development OpportunitiesDay-to-day:Coordinate and manage the importation of goods via ocean and air freight.Communicate and liaise with overseas agents, carriers, and clients.Arrange and track shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs declarations.Monitor shipment progress and resolve any issues or delays.Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams for efficient cargo handling and delivery.Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of import records and databases.Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and providing status updates.Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless coordination of import activities.Requirements:Minimum 3 years experience in Sea and Air freight for a UK based freight forwarderKnowledge of global freight forwarding and customs regulationsRight to work in the UKWR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
