Fixed Term Contract Secondment considered - Until end of May 2025 This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and exciting team within the Inverness district.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Rehabilitation Assistant Practitioner to join the Inverness Integrated Team.
You will work with individuals in their own home, leading on non-complex assessment for clients including supporting discharge from hospital and preventing admission to hospital.
You will be delivering targeted and intensive rehabilitation programmes to maximise patient independence.
You will work alongside our existing Band 4 practitioners and wider OT team consisting of Senior Healthcare support workers, Registered Occupational Therapists and Advanced Practice Occupational Therapists.
This is an opportunity to work within an established Integrated team in a community based setting.
You will be expected to manage a caseload to provide assessment, rehabilitation, onward referral and discharge to a range of patients referred to the service.
You will work within multi-professional teams to ensure co-ordinated care for patients.
Professional guidance and day to day management will be provided through an Advanced Practice Occupational Therapist.
Regular supervision is provided (including peer supervision opportunities) and opportunities for ongoing professional development are encouraged.
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations and patient residences, so a full current driving license and use of a vehicle is essential.

This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
