Occupational Therapist Locum Band 6

Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their occupational needs and goals.
Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
Provide therapeutic interventions that enable patients to engage in meaningful activities.
Educate patients, families, and carers on strategies to manage daily living activities and enhance independence.
Work closely with other healthcare professionals within the Integrated Care Team to ensure coordinated and holistic care delivery.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments as necessary.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with departmental policies and standards.
Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and contribute to service development initiatives.
Provide supervision and support to junior staff and students as required.
Qualifications and Experience Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with HCPC.
Significant experience in a clinical setting, ideally within community or integrated care.
Strong assessment and intervention skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in occupational therapy.
