Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Support from a fantastic multi-disciplinary team (MDT) Key Responsibilities:As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing and providing tailored interventions for children and young people with complex needs.
Working autonomously, you'll manage a varied caseload, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans.
Your role will involve: Conducting comprehensive assessments of children with diverse needs, including autism, sensory issues, and attachment difficulties.
Interpreting assessment results to create and deliver effective intervention plans.
Supporting children's development through personalized care plans, focusing on daily living activities, self-care, productivity, and leisure.
Ensuring all occupational therapy practices are evidence-based and aligned with clinical governance and risk management standards.
Essential Criteria: A Degree in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC Registration.
Membership with RCOT.
Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist, ideally with children.
Proficiency in various clinical approaches, especially those related to Autism, sensory needs, and attachment disorders.
Skilled in implementing sensory strategies.
