Occupational Therapist

Implement a holistic, therapeutic and dynamic approach to helping vulnerable adults in their daily lives, ensuring their safety, comfort and occupational and sensory needs are supported.
Undertake assessments, bespoke interventions and prepare documentation, including reports and sensory profiles.
Provide information and training to staff, commissioners and other agencies as required.Work within a well-established and supportive multi-disciplinary therapy team to create an environment where vulnerable adults can flourish, learn and develop.
The team includes Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, assistant psychologist and therapy assistants.Experience of working with adults with intellectual disability and/or autism, complex trauma, mental health needs and behaviours of concern is essential.
Evidence of continuing professional development and substantial post-qualification experience with children and young people is also required.Key skills include data management, supervision and training of staff, and a full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.We offer a £2,000 training allowance, a pension scheme, life assurance, and a range of health, wellbeing and insurance benefits through our Flexible Benefits Platform, Vista.
