About the Role Are you ready to make a difference in workplace health and safety?
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Specialist to lead our health surveillance and screening efforts across the UK.
Your key duties will include: Conduct comprehensive health screenings: audiometry, lung function, vision, HAVS, and general health checks (height, weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, urinalysis).
Provide expert health advice based on screening results.
Screen pre-employment medical declarations, issue fit certificates, and maintain confidentiality.
Accurately gather, record, and securely store medical information in our bespoke Occupational Health database.
Ensure all equipment is maintained, calibrated, clean, and fully stocked.
Support health promotion and well-being initiatives.
Assist with non-clinical tasks, including managing paper-based case files.
Oversee workplace First Aid in collaboration with health and safety partners.
Analyse health surveillance outcomes, advise management on safe working practices, and refer for further support when needed.
This is a national role that requires extensive UK travel and regular overnight stays.
A company car/allowance is provided.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
However, some flexibility is required as some of our factories do operate 24/7.

About You You will have: Strong hands-on clinical experience as a registered nurse.
Experience/skills to analyse the outcome of data and test results, and to take action to address issues identified by trends.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Experience in an occupational health setting, possibly as a screening nurse.
Desire to expand career in occupational health, aiming for a senior role in the future.
Enthusiastic and reliable.
Confidence working independently and managing your own priorities/diary.
Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility to travel (with overnight stays) Keen to expand your skills in the manufacturing industry.
