Job summary Are you a seeking a new opportunity where you can make a vital difference?Due to development within the team, St Lukes Hospice Plymouth is recruiting a Band 4 Nursing Associate for 18 months to join the highly respected, friendly nursing team at our inpatient unit (IPU) in the beautiful setting of Turnchapel, Plymouth.Our IPU team prides itself on providing palliative and end of life care of the highest standard for patients with complex care needs, relieving their pain and maintaining their dignity.

Main duties of the job The Nursing Associate role is relatively new at St Luke's so we are seeking a resilient individual who can help us shape and develop the role for the future.
You will be given a structured orientation program from our dedicated team supported by Practice Educators to further develop your skills, confidence and competencies in patient care.While the role we are recruiting to is a challenging one, it is highly rewarding and you will be part of a supportive team working in a positive environment where all our staff and volunteers are valued.
Internal rotation to nights and weekends will be a requirement of the post.
