Job summary We are excited to offer a new position to join us at CartmelSurgery, We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Nursing Associate tosupport our Nursing team in a role that covers most aspects of standardtreatment.
We are a well-established friendly rural dispensing practice servingthe local community Main duties of the job The ideal candidate should be available to work between 14and 20 hours per week over 2 days, with some flexibility around these hours.You will provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for our patients,as well as offer nursing assistance to the doctors and other members of theprimary healthcare team.
Your duties will include all tasks typically performedby a nursing associate in a General Practice setting, such as phlebotomy,administering injections and vaccinations, wound care (including surgical,ulcer care, and compression), performing Doppler assessments, collaboratingwith the team, promoting health and wellness, conducting room checks (infectioncontrol duties), managing stock, and performing NHS Health Checks.
About us We are a rural dispensing practice with a list size of 3300patients, 1 GP and 2 salaried GPs, we are also training practice with GPRegistrars, FY2s and Medical Students.
