Room Leader - Nursery in Blackpool An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dedicated Room Leader to join a dynamic team at a well-established nursery in Blackpool.
This is a fantastic role for an experienced and passionate individual who thrives in early years education.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the room and implement the nursery curriculum to a high standard.
Provide an enriching environment, ensuring resources and activities meet the needs of the children.
Take the lead in planning and maintain accurate, effective records of children's progress.
Promote strong partnerships with parents, carers, and family members.
Support the development of good practice in special needs and inclusion.
Work collaboratively with the team to improve the quality of childcare and education.
Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed to maintain a safe environment for all children.
Monitor and manage the nutritional needs of the children in line with Food Safety Regulations.
Stay up to date with relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and 2004, as well as company policies.
Requirements: Level 3 qualification in Childcare (essential).
Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and the EYFS framework.
Extensive experience working with children and families, with a focus on safeguarding.
Experience in maintaining accurate administration records.
Passion for promoting good practice and creating an inclusive environment.

Salary: From £12.20 per hour.
