Our client is seeking a Nursery Nurse for their modern and spacious day nursery in Berkshire.
It has a great location with good transport links and is within walking distance from the local train station and bus stop.
There is a carparking available and several local cafés and a bakers which are only a short stroll away.
The Nursery Nurse will be responsible for creating an environment in which children's individual needs are met and for supporting the team in ensuring that high quality childcare is provided to all.
This is a full time 40 hr per week role.

Responsibilities: Work in partnership with parent and carers, catering for all children's individual needs; observing, planning and evaluating development activities; keeping accurate records and maintaining regular contact and communication with parents Support the Room Leader to ensure that all nursery initiatives are fully embedded into the room, following and implementing the EYFS Respond to parent queries or requests in a professional manner, seeking help or signposting parents to the correct person within the nursery as appropriate To take good care of equipment and furniture in the room, ensuring that any issues are flagged appropriately Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience of working in a day nursery Relevant Early Years qualification – Level 3 Understanding and working knowledge of the EYFS Good understanding of health and safety requirements, safeguarding and paediatric first aid Valid DBS check If this full-time Nursery Nurse role doesn't fit with your schedule call us for a chat, as often our clients will consider part time or flexible working on a case by case basis.
