Nursery Nurse Our Client are looking to employ a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner for their quality Nursery based near Redditch, Worcestershire.
The successful Nursery Nurse must be passionate and experienced in showing initiative and creativity to foster an environment which encourages the children's all-round development and where high standards of care are provided at all times.
Key Responsibilities Be a 'Key-person' to children, having responsibility for overall child's welfare and parent partnerships.
Ensure the Welfare and Safeguarding procedures are followed along with all other company policies and procedures.
Observing each child's progress reporting on achievements and maintain records of day-to-day activities and developments.
Providing educational, fun activities for all children in your care.
Keeping childcare software updated for parents, providing parents with photographic evidence of their child's day as well as keeping them informed of daily food, nappies and sleep times.
Providing a child friendly, child led environment, a place children and parents feel safe and secure.
All observations to be factual, informative, and professionally written for parents logging into the software.
You must supervisor the children at play (indoors and outdoors) making sure in the outdoor areas large equipment is a priority.
Encourage independence at lunch times and throughout the session, this must be age appropriate.
To deliver the EYFS in activities and experiences in the nursery.
Be responsible for planning for your key children and enhancing their development.
Developing enabling environments where children can initiate play.
Complete all daily health and safety checklists as required by the nursery.
Requirements A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare such as EYE, NVQ, CACHE or recognised equivalent A valid Paediatric level 3 first aid certificate.
Current knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, level 3 trained An enhanced DBS certificate.
Experience of working in an Early Years setting.
Knowledge and experience of working within a team and implementing the EYFS statutory framework.
