Role Overview: As a Nursery Manager, you will play a vital role in the nursery's daily activities, delivering outstanding care while supporting the emotional, social, and educational development of the children.
You will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and engage with parents to create a supportive community for children. Key Responsibilities: Take responsibility for managing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
Lead and support nursery staff in delivering exceptional childcare and educational activities.
Create and implement engaging activities that foster children's learning and development.
Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and address any concerns.
Cultivate a positive environment that supports children's social, emotional, and physical growth.
Keep accurate records of children's progress and attendance.
Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the local community.
Ensure the nursery remains well-organised, clean, and safe for all children.
Requirements: A minimum of Level 3 qualification in a UK-recognised early years qualification is required.
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
In-depth knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
Experience in senior leadership within a nursery setting.
A GCSE or equivalent qualification in Maths is legally required, or the willingness to obtain one within 2 years of starting the role.
