What you'll be doing Preparing nursery meals Following allergen requests Placing orders and stock rotation using the FIFO method Preparation of hot/cold food Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment Ensure food is correctly stored according to food safety policies and guidelines Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment and utensils Present and garnish food and portions according to guidelines Provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers and co workers Assisting in the compilation of all shift opening and closing checklists Experience Previous kitchen/cooking experience is required Culinary qualification essential Knowledge of allergens and food safety DBS required E learning is available through our online learning system to obtain Food Safety Level 2/3 certificate
