Nursery Assistant

Nursery Assistant Temporary Part-time contract until July 2025 – possibility of a contract extension after this time.
Mon to Fri – 1pm to 6pm 25 hours a week – term time only – with the possibility of additional hours going forward.
Salary range: Grade 2 or 3 - £24,027 - £24,404 pro rata (depending on experience) We are seeking to appoint a friendly and enthusiastic nursery assistant to support our children aged 3 to 5 in our busy Nursery School in the afternoon including tea club.
As a nursery assistant, you'll play a vital role in fostering social interactions and co-operation among our children, building their language skills.
You will be a positive influence, encouraging nutritious eating habits in a relaxed setting.
You will need to be committed to an inclusive approach and ideally have previous experience of working with young children and preferably holding a Level 3 EY's qualification.
Food Hygiene training is desirable but full training will be given.
