Nursery Assistant for Tea clubTemporary Part-time contract until July 2025 – possibility of a contract extension after this time.
Mon to Fri – 4pm to 6pm 10 hours a week – term time only – with the possibility of additional hours going forward.
Salary range: Grade 2 or 3 - £24,027 - £24,404 pro rata (depending on experience) We are seeking to appoint a friendly and enthusiastic nursery assistant to support our children aged 3 to 5 in our busy Nursery School tea club.
As a nursery assistant, you'll play a vital role in fostering social interactions and co-operation among our children, building their language skills.
You will be a positive influence, encouraging nutritious eating habits in a relaxed setting.
Key responsibilities:•Setting up the dining area•Welcoming children to the tables, encouraging them to use cutlery•Supporting children to try new foods•Promote cleanliness and hygiene practices•Clearing the dining area after lunch and preparing afternoon snack You will need to be committed to an inclusive approach and ideally have previous experience of working with young children and preferably holding a Level 3 EY's qualification.
Food Hygiene training is desirable but full training will be given.
