Nursery Nurse Here at Nurse Seekers we are proud to be working on behalf of a quality TERM-TIME setting based near Torquay, Devon, who are looking for a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their friendly team.
The successful candidate will assist in providing high quality childcare whilst maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities Have a genuine passion for the Early Years sector To ensure the children are welcomed into a warm and happy environment, creating a stimulating and pleasant working atmosphere in order to encourage and develop children in our care Planning, preparation and assessment of the Foundation stage curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage To foresee the needs of SEN children and give physical, emotional, intellectual guidance as appropriate requirements set out in the EYPS To maintain confidentiality and professionalism regarding each child and his/her family.
Reporting concerns regarding child welfare and safeguarding to the Designated Safeguarding Lead Ensuring the safety of children at all times To settle in new children and provide on-going support, under a key worker system, liaising with parents and maintaining good communications To maintain children's records and carry out assessments Requirements Full andRelevant childcare qualification at Level 3 or above, in accordance with Ofsted Experience of working in a childcare environment for a minimum of 2 years.
