Nurse Prescriber We have an exciting new opportunity for an independent Nurse Prescriber with an interest in neurodevelopmental conditions to join our team in Oxford.
Oxford ADHD & Autism Centre (part of the Clinical Partners Group) are looking for an experienced Nurse Prescriber to offer remote and face to face appointments at our clinic on the outskirts of Oxford.
You will work within our multi-disciplinary team conducting ADHD medication clinics for children and adults.
You will be responsible for assessing patients with an established diagnosis, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medication within the scope of your practice.
You will be crucial in providing advice and support to GPs, other relevant professionals and service users on ADHD medications and respond to parents' queries by email or telephone.
Key Responsibilities: Develop individualised treatment plans Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic and integrated care.
Prescribe and manage prescriptions within the scope of practice.
Monitor and adjust medication regimens as needed and educate patients on medication compliance.
Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
Manage and respond to clinical queries and repeat prescription requests from existing patients via a dedicated mailbox.
Liaise with GPs to secure shared care arrangements in prescribing of medication once titration has completed.
Requirements: To be considered you will need to hold a V300 qualification and have specialist knowledge of ADHD medications as you will be undertaking independent prescribing practice, working alongside our consultants.
You will also have experience reading ECG's.
The role is offered on a full time basis, as a hybrid role, with the option of working remotely and from our Oxford clinic Monday Friday 9-5.30pm.
