Our team of consultants, GPwERs and specialist nurses are able to provide patients with rapid access to specialist opinion from a choice of clinic locations across Sandwell and Birmingham.We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse Hysteroscopist to join our dynamic team at Modality Community Gynaecology.

Main duties of the job As a Nurse Hysteroscopist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring a high standard of clinical practice and patient safety.
The ability to travel between clinic locations will be essential.

The postholder(s) will be committed to undertake any other duties commensurate with the role, within the bounds of their own competence.The poster holder will: Manage a caseload of patients according to clinical guidelines undertaking unsupervised hysteroscopic procedures and giving specialist nursing advice and support to patients.
Assess, plan, and deliver patient care in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
Provide pre-procedure education and support to patients, ensuring they understand the process and addressing any concerns or queries.
Monitor and manage patients' recovery post-procedure, including pain management and follow-up care.

Qualifications Essential NMC Registered general nurse.
Degree or equivalent level of education or experience.
Accredited Hysteroscopist BSGE/RCOG.
Full driving licence and the ability to travel between service locations.
Knowledge Essential Knowledge of research and evidence-based practice in hysteroscopy.
Compassionate and patient-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to manage changing priorities and complex cases.
Risk management awareness and able to assess clinical risk.
Ability to carry out patient assessments or treatments with moderate physical effort.
Experience Essential Minimum of 3 years post registration experience.
Experience of working within a Gynaecology setting.
Experience of working within a similar environment within primary/secondary care.
Experience of leading and/or mentoring junior staff.
