Then working for us will provide you with the opportunity to bepart of an experienced team, working in a busy environment enabling you tonurture and further develop your skills and experience.As a Student Nurse Associate, you will be expected to attendUniversity for a day per week, and although you will be based in one communityteam, you will need to undertake six short placements at an alternativelocation over the two years.
You will be supported to learn on the job by thehealthcare team and a dedicated work-based tutor.
Main duties of the job We are proud of our staff and support career progression soif you successfully complete the 2-year training course, and become registered,you will be offered a permanent job as a nursing associate.
Once established inthis role, the opportunity for further training to become a registered nursemay also be possible.In this role you will be expected to provide anddeliver high standards of nursing care in partnership with a Registered nurse,working with a wide range of partner organisations to deliver care and supportpeople in their own homes and from a number of hospitals and community bases.You will link closely with colleagues includinggeneral practitioners and other members of the multidisciplinary team tosupport excellent nursing care at home, reducing the necessity for acutehospital now to join our team and help us to deliver our visionto improve health and wellbeing by providing high quality care.
