Job summary Are you an enthusiastic and passionate Nurse Associate looking for a fresh start in 2025?
Come and join Sirona in a role where you can make a real difference to the community you live in.You will work in a team with other multi-disciplinary professionals including Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Administrators and other support staff, on a rota system between the hours of 8am-8pm over a 7 day working period.You will need excellent communication and clinical skills and have experience of working within a team.
You will be required to use electronic patient record systems, in addition to this you will have good time management and be able to prioritise your own work load.This post is open to qualified Nurse Associates or Trainee Nurse Associates due to qualify imminently.
Main duties of the job Undertake appropriate delegated initial holistic assessments and implement programmes of care for patients who are acutely and chronically unwellAssess and monitor service users' health needs, assessing patient condition and well-beingUse clinical reasoning skills, within the designated competency framework, to assess, plan, implement and evaluate, patient- centred intervention programmesCollaborate with service users, carers and family in identifying appropriate and achievable goalsContribute to the facilitation of appropriate referrals to other servicesWork within a multi-disciplinary team, to provide integrated skills and share knowledgeAssess and arrange the provision of equipmentTake every opportunity to support and educate service users and their carers to promote independence, good health and personal safetyProvide and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all patients and carersSupport, supervise, assess and act as a role model to other learners such as Nursing Associate trainees, first year student nurses and health care support workers as requiredMaintain accurate, informative and legal records of all interventions in accordance with policyActively participate in training; this may involve assisting in the delivery of trainingTake responsibility for your own delegated objectives, training, proficiencies and competence, as outlined by the NMC code of conductSupport delivery of vaccination campaigns About us Ever dreamt about a career that sparks excitement and fosters your professional growth?

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Higher Apprenticeship in Health level 5 or Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care Current NMC registration Desirable Willing to undertake any training relevant to the role Skills, knowledge and experience Essential Experience of working in a health or social care setting providing direct patient care Ability to conduct clinical tasks within the Nursing Associate scope of practice to a high level of competence Ability to manipulate fine tools for venepuncture or other clinical tasks Clear understanding of NMC standards of proficiencies and professional standards of practice including revalidation Effective communication skills both written and verbal Range of IT skills Desirable Previous or current community experience
