Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st August 2025 Vacancy Hours: 21.25 hours, term time only Grade/Band: Grade CD (scp 5) Salary Range: NJC Pay Structure, £24,790 per annum pro rata (£12,342 per annum based on 21.25hrs/wk) The Governors are seeking to appoint an excellent and highly motivated advanced teaching assistant to join our warm, inclusive and ambitious school, mainly working alongside the teacher and another ATA in a mixed Key Stage 2 class (Y3-6).
This position is a part-time post on a fixed term contract.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:45 - 12:30 and Friday 08:45 - 15:30.
There might be some flexibility within these working hours for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will demonstrate they are able to inspire and motivate children.
Being able to follow the teacher's planning is essential as well as being an effective communicator to both pupils and staff, plus the ability to work within a highly effective team.
The successful candidate will be confident adapting learning sequences to match the needs of learners as well as being able to accurately assess learning and feed this back in an appropriate manner to the class teacher.
