Nightshift Van Driver

TTS 24-7 Recruitment is recruiting for a Night shift Van Driver to support our client's established team at their despatch site in Newbridge, Edinburgh.
As one of the largest bakeries in Scotland, every week they bake upwards of 4 million of Scotlands favourite rolls alone!
Job Description and hours: This role starts 02:30Monday morning , you will work 6 days finishing on a Saturday morning.
Some Tuesdays and Thursdays are slightly quieter so you may be finished earlier but will always be paid 8hr minimum.
Areas that you will be Delivering in are Edinburgh, Borders, and West Lothian.
Drivers will start their shift by loading their vans with delivery crates with the customers orders.
They will then collect all relevant delivery paperwork, and instructions and set off to the clients delivery points.
As these deliveries will be carried out during the night the customers sites may not be open and the driver will be delivering to unmanned sites, all instructions will be given in detail to the driver.
Three weeks of training with another driver will be given to ensure the new driver is confident in their new role.
Due to insurance reasons the driver must be over 25 yrs old with no points on their licence.
Hourly Rate will be £12.72.
Holidays are 20 days plus 9 public holidays and uniform is provided.
This is a 12-week temporary to permanent position through TTS 24-7 Recruitment, after the 12 weeks the candidate will be offered a permanent contract direct with the client.
While working with TTS 24-7 Recruitment you will be paid weekly and paid each Wednesday!
