Nightshift Hygiene Manager

Brightwork are delighted to be supporting our client and are recruiting for a Permanent Nightshift Hygiene Manager based in our client's site situated near Stirling.
Key Responsibilities - Responsible for ensuring that all onsite equipment are Cleaned In Place in accordance with the cleaning regime.
- Supporting the hygiene team in ensuring cleaning completed and to the standard and frequency required.
- Responsible for creation, maintenance, implementation, and review of procedures and standards to ensure compliance with company and customer Codes of Practice in relation to CIP and manual cleaning across the site.
- Carry out chemical concentration checks and hygiene audits, etc.
as part of the verification process.
- Maintenance, review, update, and daily sign off cleaning paperwork, ensuring cleaning is carried out as per required frequencies.
- Responsible for safety, performance, and high standards of housekeeping - Comply with all site quality, safety and hygiene instructions and procedures - Responsible for ensuring all staff wear the appropriate uniforms and PPE - Ensure that formal documented systems are maintained and developed as appropriate to the overall requirements of the business - Involvement in authorisation of plant hygiene and CIP process changes to ensure that product safety and quality objectives are continually met, as well as all hygiene/allergen validation - Liaise closely with the production department - Motivate and provide clear direction to employees - Responsible for planning and organising and utilising all resources effectively, ensuring employee rota is issued weekly and holiday and sickness is covered - Comply with Health and Safety requirements and create a team culture of health and safety within the depot and adheres to HR policies and procedures Qualifications / Experience Required: - A food manufacturing technical professional with experience and understanding of Quality Systems/ Management or Hygiene Management.
- Working knowledge in CIP - Able to demonstrate a strong moral compass within their day to day dealings within a business environment.
- Ability to implement change and manage a team.
Skills and Knowledge Required: - Creative problem-solving abilities and experience - Positive and outgoing attitude - Eye for detail and auditing skills - Ability to work well under pressure and without supervision - Ability to interpret data and take necessary action.
- Computer literate ideally in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint - Proactive and self-driven Highly competitive salary paid for this role.
