Job Description Dementia Support Worker - Transform the lives of our resident living with dementia!
Location: Haviland House, Goring By Sea Contracted Hours: 48 hours per week, full-time Salary: £13.44 per hour Mon - Fri, £14.08 Sat & £13.44 Sun Working Hours: 8pm - 8am, alternative weekends required About the role: We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Care Supervisor to lead and support our care team in ensuring high standards of care for our residents.
In this role, you will act as a team leader, manage nightly care routines, oversee staff deployment and maintain the dignity and independence of residents.
About The Role Key Responsibilities: Supervise and deploy care staff, ensuring smooth operation in the absence of senior colleagues.
Safely administer medication and maintain competence through regular supervised rounds.
Develop and implement care plans tailored to residents' personal and social needs.
Promote the mental and physical well-being of residents through engaging activities.
Act as a role model, fostering good practices and effective communication among staff.
Manage the acoustic monitoring system and direct staff appropriately.
Uphold Guild Care's policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and confidentiality.
What we are looking for: Essential: NVQ Level 2 in Care.
Experience and a passion for supporting people living with Dementia.
Experience in a care environment and providing personal care.
A satisfactory DBS check.
Desirable: NVQ Level 3 in Care.
