An opportunity has arisen for a Dietitian to join our dietetic team based at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital on a part time contract.
This post will work as part of our multi-professional team alongside Specialist Dietitians, who will provide training and supervision.
The post holder will have an opportunity to provide a service to patients within a variety of settings including inpatient wards within the Royal Edinburgh Hospital site as well as outlying area sites.
It is an exciting opportunity, for a dietitian who has a keen interest in mental health.
The post holder will become a valued member of the wider multidisciplinary teams.
The post holder will be expected to participate in student training and provide clinical support for other members of the team.
The dietetic service is strongly committed to training and support for CPD with a supervision framework, annual appraisals, peer support and training opportunities to further develop clinical skills.

This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
