Bringing general practicestogether to work at scale has been a policy priority for some years for a rangeof reasons, including improving the ability of practices to recruit and retainstaff; to manage financial and estates pressures; to provide a wider range ofservices to patients and to more easily integrate with the wider health andcare system.

As a well established and mature PCN we have a strong culture of governance and clinical supervision.
We have a PCN Manager, Educational lead, supportive Clinical actively seek opportunities for piloting new ways of working and regularly submit funding bids to test out new approaches to service delivery Main duties of the job To carry out the duties asoutlined and be proactive in continuously improving service delivery.
To workin a professional manner with a client focus, ensuring that respect andcourtesy is shown to patients, colleagues, other service providers and allthose in contact with the organisation.
Ourstaff are expected to be flexible to work at any/all our PCN sites and inpatients place of residence when clinically necessary.

Job description Job responsibilities Following the release of ARRSGP information and funding we are looking for newly qualified, within 2 yearsand not having had a substantive post, enthusiastic, forward-thinking GPs tojoin Keynsham Primary Care Network on a fixed term salaried contact until 31March 2025.
We will consider applications for between 3-5 sessions with a startdate as soon as possible.You will be required to work across 2 practices, 3 sites supporting ourpractices through the winter period.
Our practices are training practices.
Weare a highly supportive PCN and the practices work closely together,understanding the importance of a good work/life balance with an open-doorethos.To undertake duties governed by the contract andObjectives of Direct and Local EnhancedServices including:Face to face and telephoneconsultationsPatient Home visits and Nursing HomevisitsChecking and signing repeatprescriptionsAdministration -dealingwith queries, patient test results, referral letters NHS and private, task, emailsand other paperwork and correspondence in a timely mannerCover all the clinical management of the patients in surgery asappropriate including initiating investigations, reviewing results, makingreferrals to secondary care or to other providers as appropriate Developcare and treatment plans in consultation with patients and in line with currentPractice disease management protocols as well wider guidance such as that fromNICE Person Specification Skills Essential Excellent communication skills, written and oral, including recording of accurate clinical notes.
Strong IT skills and competent in the use of Microsoft Office and Outlook Effective time management, Planning, Organising and Prioritising, with excellent problem solving and analytical skills Ability to work autonomously, and as part of a multi-disciplinary team Ability to listen and empathise whilst being honest and caring Ability to follow clinical policy and procedure with and understanding of the audit process Desirable Knowledge of General Practice Clinical Systems eg.
SystmOne Experience Essential Experience of working in urgent care and, or a primary care environment Experience of dealing with a range of clinical conditions Experience of providing home visits Proven ability to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of own clinical practice.
Understanding of evidence-based practice.
Evidence of working autonomously, with some support and supervision Desirable Experience in Triage Knowledge of Quality and Outcomes Framework.

Qualifications Essential GMC registered.
MBBS or equivalent medical degree MRCGP Evidence of interest in relevant additional clinical skills.
Enhanced DBS Clearance.
