About the vacancy Job Description: As an HGV Driver at NewCold, you will play a crucial role in our operations.
We are looking for dedicated drivers able to work 12 hours per day (where in line with working time legislation).

Responsibilities: Ensure all daily checks are undertaken in line with company standards and legislative requirements reporting any defects correctly.
Complete all necessary paperwork on time and in full.
Ensure all deliveries/collections are loaded correctly at temp and secure before leaving depots.
Partake in pre & debrief process ensuring traffic office appraised of any required info regarding delays or accidents/incidents.
Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner respecting other road users and protecting the reputation of the company.
Ensure safe delivery & collection of goods minimizing risk to self, colleague & public by following company processes.
Observe Company rules, procedures, and policies at all times.
Ensure that the work environment -units and trailers-are kept in a clean and tidy condition at all times.
Download tacho card in line with company requirements.
Requirements: Valid HGV Class C + E license.
Driver CPC qualification (or willingness to obtain, with our support).
Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
Clean driving record and commitment to safety.
