This new interim position, with a large multinational organization, requires an experienced employment lawyer to start immediately.
This broad role will offer strategic legal advice and support HR and business leaders across multiple jurisdictions, particularly within EMEA.
Key Responsibilities: Provide timely, practical advice to HR and business leaders on a broad spectrum of employee matters, including recruitment, promotions, performance and absence management, leave entitlements, discrimination, harassment, disciplinary actions, terminations, and restructurings.
Draft, review, and refine employment-related contracts, agreements, policies, and templates to ensure alignment with local employment laws and company standards across various countries.
Oversee and collaborate with outside counsel on employment litigation matters as needed.
Conduct internal audits and investigations, providing counsel on employee issues and helping mitigate legal risks.
Stay informed of relevant changes in employment laws and best practices, advising the business of implications and necessary adjustments.
Required Experience and Skills: Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years PQE in employment law, with experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters.
Proven experience working with large multinational companies across different jurisdictional issues.
Excellent research, negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
Ability to deliver accurate, concise, and commercially focused advice to stakeholders.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, capable of working across time zones.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
