As a New Business Leader, you will project manage New Product Introduction (NPI) projects on behalf of the Barnard Castle (BC) site and will have overall responsibility for the delivery and successful technology transfer of NPI projects for BC.
In this role you will… Project manage allocated NPI projects from kick-off to pre-approval inspection (PAI), including development, clinical trials/registration batches, validation batches and supporting launch and commercialization of the product.Develop robust project plans and subsequently monitor adherence to plans and develop contingency to ensure that key project milestones are achieved.Lead on-site multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver these projects (team size may be up to 20 personnel).Escalate any potential resource conflicts, capacity issues, supply challenges or technical difficulties to the site New Business Manager and/or Site Leadership Team (SLT) for support, resolution.Be accountable for managing the project resource and budget and communicate changes in project scope to the Business Unit and finance department as appropriate.Effectively manage project risks and communicate project risks where appropriate.Qualifications & Skills: Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent.Project management experience.A broad understanding of pharmaceutical product delivery processes and how a manufacturing site operates within these processes.The ability to operate at all levels of the organization and across international boundaries.Able to maintain excellent stakeholder relationships and provide a conduit between the site and broader GSK organizations.Experience in problem-solving and including communication and influencing stakeholders.The ability to manage conflict of various sources and consider each conflict with the broader scope of activity.Have the ability/capability to ensure projects are delivered considering budgets, risk management, planning and performance management.Preferred: Advanced qualification in project management.Experience of project management in a highly regulated industry managing time critical projects.Application close date: 4th Dec Why GSK?
