These would include companies in the pharmaceutical, heavy industries, food FMCG etc Role Description This role is a new business development position within the WSS sales team.
You will need to have demonstrable excellent networking, relationship building skills, and be highly credible at multiple levels within our client organisations.
We are looking for someone who can build, manage and close a substantial project pipeline; managing stakeholders through the process.
You will have appropriate experience demonstrating a consultative approach within the HSE market evidencing how you have identified issues and worked collaboratively to resolve these selling solutions.
The role will cover the Midlands and above, be remotely based with regular interaction and face-to-face meetings with the team in Portsmouth.
You will largely be responsible for generating opportunities from the start and, with support, managing these through to a successful conclusion.
Key Aspects Manage the entire new business sales cycle from inception to closure: prospecting, discovery, inbound & outbound leads, proposal & quotation, and close of sale Be an ambassador for our technologies; Build strong, long-lasting relationships with the market, demonstrating and presenting how our products and services will impact their businesses Run product demos, virtual presentations, site surveys, negotiate deals and support in the creation of business proposals Qualifications New Business Development and Sales skills Experience in delivering sales presentations and managing accounts Lead generation and Sales experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build and maintain client relationships Analytical and problem-solving abilities Self-motivated and results-driven Knowledge of safety regulations and equipment is a plus Other Info: Remote based – Northern (Derby only an example) and regular visit to the main office (Portsmouth)
