The Role As a Social Worker, you will: Manage a diverse and allocated caseload.
Conduct thorough assessments in line with legislation, policies, and procedures.
Identify and provide appropriate support and interventions for children, young people, and families.
Work collaboratively with partners to deliver services and support tailored to individual needs.
Ensure the voices of children and young people are central to the assessment and planning process.
Participate in statutory and other planned meetings, sharing responsibility for outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, following administrative and financial procedures.
Receive regular supervision and engage in continuous professional development and training.
Contribute to the learning and development of social work students.
Take part in the teams duty rota as needed.
What Youll Need To succeed in this role, youll need: Social Work qualification with professional registration.
A strong understanding of child development and family support frameworks.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with children, families, and professionals.
Ability to assess and respond to individual needs, coordinating and providing services as required.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and adults.
