Job Description Purpose of the role The Network Product Owner (Voice) at IAG is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the successful management, implementation and compliance with architectural design and technical strategy of our network infrastructure.
The Network Product Owner (Voice) will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure adherence to best practices, and drive the development of world-class Voice solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network architecture, emerging technologies, and a proven track record of implementing complex network solutions.
Accountabilities Working in partnership with IAG Tech and the business to:   Product Ownership: Proactively define and execute your product strategy, ensuring value to the customer.
Responsible for the management, optimisation and development of IAG's Wide Area Network, up to and including successful implementation of Voice changes.
Network Compliance and Standards: Develop and implement a set of standards to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met by current and future network architectures.
Ensure network designs and implementations comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.    Governance and Controls: Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and change logs.   Communication and Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with our managed service partners and their engineers.
Communicate network solutions to both technical and non-technical employees.  This role may require travel and working from multiple sites/locations.
    Key Stakeholders External: Strategic and operational third-party partners, suppliers, and manufacturers Internal: Network Product Manager.
Group and relevant IT Business & Operations areas.  IAG Tech (I&O).
IAG Tech Architecture.
Software Engineering.  Cyber Security.  Qualifications People Specification Qualifications Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
Desired: Technical qualifications/certifications within area(s) of expertise (e.g., CCNA, CCNP).
Skills Extensive understanding of large enterprise networks, including WAN, LAN, WLAN, DC, and Radio.
Experience in a multi-vendor network environment.
Background in a similar role within a FTSE100 business or organization of comparable size.
Knowledge of: Wireless TCP/IP Spanning-tree Subnetting Routing protocols Access control lists VPN Network Access Control Firewall operations Ability to identify and contribute to continuous improvement and development of design and governance solutions.
Vendor experience with Cisco, Juniper, Broadcom, and NetBrain.
Desire to work in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to summarize and present information to key stakeholders.
Embraces and manages both business and IT change, contributing to the organization's future direction.
Ability to identify innovative, practical, and cost-effective solutions while recognizing industry trends.
Risk management skills, ensuring options are agreed upon and a plan is in place.
Strong ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Experience Demonstrable technical understanding of their specific product area (e.g., infrastructure, network, hardware, and support tooling).
Proven experience working in a complex, cross-functional environment.
Track record of promoting and advocating innovative ways of working to enhance project speed and effectiveness, especially in agile delivery.
Experience operating across multiple countries and cultures (desirable, not essential).
