Network Installation Engineer Basingstoke: With travel to Fujitsu and customer sites as needed by projects.

As a Network Engineer, you will contribute to this by working collaboratively in the project team, designing, configuring, and delivering medium to large network solutions to enable services for our customer that meet the project timelines.
We are looking for a Network Engineer to work on delivery opportunities taking place within the secure Defence and National Security sector.
Your role will involve understanding the project technical requirements, site surveys, network design/configuration documentation updates, hands on building and implementation/configuration work, troubleshooting technical issues, supporting live implementations, and ensuring a successful handover to service for all changes.
Your experience: Solid understanding of WAN Connectivity and routing protocols, with experience of the implementation, configuration and management of virtual and physical networking solutions.
Experience of Network Physical Design, including Survey Design and Design Approval.
Able to produce complete Logical Designs/Bill of Materials, using Build Guides and Work Instructions.
Hands on experience in designing, configuring and troubleshooting Juniper and Catapan networks.
Experience of 3 rd Line support in fault finding and resolution on Customer equipment.
High level security clearance and travel to sites required.
Excellent communications skills with multiple stakeholders, able to take ownership and responsibility, and make quick decisions.
