Position Overview: Providing services across all distribution assets, including overhead lines, underground cabling and substations.
Key Responsibilities: Execute cable jointing and termination of low and high voltage cables.
Conduct inspections and tests to ensure integrity and safety of cable installations.
Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and deliver quality work.
Adhere to SSE guidelines and industry standards throughout all tasks.
Provide technical support and guidance to apprentices and junior team members.
Qualifications: City and Guilds 2339 (formally 2322) certificate or equivalent Hold a valid EUSR or CSCS Card Hold a valid First Aid Qualification DNO operational authorisation Clean Driving Licence What We Offer: Opportunities for professional development and training.
